Modding and Troubleshooting The Sims 3

The Big News

That thing I mentioned in an earlier post is actually happening! It’s really big news for me. At the end of April I’m going back to University to work on a Master’s in English. ย I’ll be pretty busy studying, so I won’t have as much time for the Sims. But don’t worry, I won’t forget you all ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m planning to try to be as active as I can be, without it taking any time from my studies. ย โค you all ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Dear Nona!

Many congratulations!!! Your news are exciting and I hope you will find your studies challenging but rewarding. My own experiences at graduate schools have been extremely satisfying even though there has been always a lot to do and read.
If you do not mind my asking, where are you going to study?
    Many, many sincere congratulations again!!!

    • Thanks very much for your kind words, RedMallie ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m studying in Germany, at Saarland University. I was actually only a semester away from completing an MPH five or so years ago, but things happened in real life that changed everything. Since I live in Germany now, it’s not really feasible for me to go back to my old program, which is in the States. It’s really a shame but that’s how it is. Now I’m just glad to finally get back into it, and this time, finish!

      • Well, I will be cheering for you from Mexico, eh? ๐Ÿ™‚
I do not like to assume, but I think you are female. If this is true, it is always great to learn about fellow gals’ achievements.
I have had the opportunity to go to graduate school in three different countries now that I think of it. First here in Mexico, then in the U.S., and my most recent degree was from the U.K. I can only say I have been fortunate to complete all of them, and from what you say, I gather you are determined to get your masters degree this time, so, I am sure you will.
Life throws many things at us, and it is part of the life experience to become stronger and better after each time. Honestly, Nona, I am very very happy and excited for you. ๐Ÿ˜€

        • Wow, you have studied in a lot of different countries! That’s really awesome. And yep, I’m female ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m really excited about this, too. In fact, I can’t wait. Classes start in a couple of weeks and I haven’t been able to register yet. I’m just itching to register and get my books, lol! Hopefully I can register on Monday.
